Assistant guide helps the lead guide. Typically, this means paddling at the front of the canoe or helping pack gear on the hiking and climbing tours. Our guide to client ratio is 1:5, so on land-based tours you'll stay at the rear keeping an eye on the group, making sure no one gets left behind, wanders into sketchy situations, but mostly just keeping them company and feeling supported.
